This body of work explores female identity through domestic forms, acts of care and containment, labor, and the tension between visibility and fragility. Drawing from the artist’s experience as a Puerto Rican woman navigating both the Caribbean and European contexts, the work reclaims everyday objects traditionally tied to the feminine and the home. Through subtle interventions and material shifts, these pieces question imposed roles, cultural expectations, and the weight of care—revealing how tenderness can also be a form of resistance.
